This leash is high quality and has been essential to getting a better workout from our walks. Note: this should not be used for reactive dogs or dogs that do not have appropriate leash training/manners.
Pro: It has great reflection, it is durable, and is comfortable on the fixed ring.
Con: The pouch doesn’t have a lot of storage capacity (doesn’t fit my iPhone 13 Pro in a rubber case), the movable ring for leash attachment allows for the leash to impede arm movement, and the “elastic” between the traffic handles defeats the purpose of the upper handle.

I have a service dog and he’s really friendly. I ordered this leash 7 years ago when Magic was a puppy and it still works plus the bungee aspect is great for training. Fast forward to 2024 and I just bought another one for Magic’s travel bag because I love this leash for safety.
I have a 110lb German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix Service Dog. So if you have a large dog or bought a large dog breed who will be strong and big as an adult this is a great asset for training, as a puppy this is how I used the leash I have this around my waist attached to Magic; in addition, I also use a hand leash. I’ll tell you the 4 reasons I love this.
1. He’s always connected to my body. Safety is key and I never drop the leash when picking up his business so it’s nice to have both hands available
2. He knows once the leash is extended the bungee springs him back so he walks side by side. Whether trying to chase a squirrel or other animals boom he springs back. Training wise if you know about this aspect well now he stays right by my side as a result. The 2 handles which you can choose how the leash is used adds an extra value of comfort, happiness and support.
3. Going for adventures/runs/hiking/off trail walking/camping etc. you literally can run/jog/walk hands free which is critical if you’re an active person or outdoors person that owns an active dog. No brainer buy this!
When you go on adventures and find a muddy hill or slippery area as a handler than you just climb up like they do and don’t have to worry about holding a leash while adventuring.
4. I think it’s a universal dog thing and they like squirrels, this leash allows you to see the situation and handle it without worry. I use both the hands free leash aka this review and a hand leash for double protection. Keep in mind that is a personal choice being a helicopter puppy handler and mom. So, if you have a puppy under 50lbs I would just use hands free. Since he’s larger no matter what he’s always connected to me. He was trained at 3 months old using this method and I bought a new one for his travel bag.
7 years and the original still has bungee pull and 2 hand handles for quick control so now Magic has a new one for his travel bag.
I highly recommend this kind of leash if you’re active and have an active puppy, your training a puppy, you’re a busy person and need your hands free, you like keeping your puppy safe. I always say it’s not my kid I worry about its other dogs that concerns me as a handler and dog mom. This leash has so many uses.
Like any review take what’s important but 7 years and the leash still springs is impressive and it’s been in extreme weather and still works. To reiterate, I bought another one just for his traveling. The original stays home and is in perfect condition.
Hands down a cool leash no pun intended.
Another thing is the dual clasps so you can connect your puppy to a belt or your own waste or hand leash. If you’re a dog walker it has loops and dual handles which also makes this leash very appealing.

This leash is great for hands free. My iPhone 16 fits perfectly in the zipper pouch as well as my house key and an ear bud or training treats. The bungee cord on the leash helps absorb any pulling. Very durable and. Could walk multiple dogs for different lead attachments.

This leash has, no exaggeration, changed the game for us! Walks have become so much more enjoyable. Highlights: Multiple options for where to clip on, Durable, Zippered pouch, Multiple handles. I have a large dog (80 lbs) and he pulls significantly less and sticks closer to my side with this system. Plus, I feel I have more control if he sees something tempting and wants to take off. I use a few carabiners to connect my keys and doggie bag dispenser. 5 stars from this family!

This is my favorite leash to walk my huskies with! You wont find me using any other leash once I discovered this product! It has a bungee in the leash so that it can stretch and two handles on the leash that you can use to hold onto if needed, but can also be used completely hands free! I like to use my body weight to control my two dogs when we walk instead of using my arms to try and stop them. If I need to, I can grab onto the leash anytime, but since the leash(es) can be attached to the waist belt, you don’t need to use your hands. I find that it’s so much easier to take the dogs for a walk this way, especially with more than 1 dog. I used this product before I had two dogs, though, and still it was just as useful. It’s great for runs, hiking, etc. and if you have dogs that pull, like my huskies, it’s a fantastic choice instead of hurting your arms trying to hold them back. It comes with a small little fanny pack attached to the waist belt as well, that can be used or taken off- your preference. I like to use this to carry poop bags on our outings or it’s big enough for a phone to fit into. The waist belt has two different rings that you can attach the leash to, one that can move freely all the way around the belt, and one that stays in place. The belt is adjustable, so it’s great for any season- we are in winter now, so I just adjust the belt to a bit bigger so it can fit over my puffy coats! I have two of these at home and have also given them as gifts to other dog owners. I’ve had these for a few years now, and the durability is just as good as it was the day it was delivered, which is great.
